Being an active IEEE Joint NZ North/South ComSoc Chapter we had organised several workshops and distinguished lecturer (DL) talks in New Zealand last year. We also won the ¿Best Chapter Achievement Award¿ in 2012.The article highlights the professional development activities for the member of the wider university community through IEEE ComSoc DL programme in New Zealand.
